And all it left me with is this stinkin’ blog post.

20 things to do when twitter is down!

1. Write a tweet about it – oh wait twitter’s down! (this is usually the first thought tweeps have, isn’t it? lol)

2. Stare at a wall/computer screen.

3. Obsessively click the refresh button on twitter.com until it comes back up!

4. Do something productive. (It’s not like this happens when twitter’s up. So, why not catch up on that week old stack of papers sitting on your desk!)

5. Use The Birdhouse App to save your thoughts until twitter comes back up to share them!

6. Write a blog post complaining about twitter and the things you can do until it comes back up.

7. Watch a Youtube video.

8. Go to this URL: http://whentwitterisdown.com/

9. Get some fresh air!

10. Write a good explaination of what Twitter actually is and try to explain it to someone – without using twitter!

11. Make some cupcakes, by the time your done, twitter should be up and you can celebrate with cupcakes!

12. Read a book. (You may learn something new to share on Twitter!)

13. Read articles on TechCrunch. (You may find an awesome article to share on Twitter!)

14. Pay attention to tweetdeck and complain about the fact that you continue to get updates, but can’t send any out!

15. Call your parents. Tell them that twitter is down. Then begin your explanation of what a twitter is.

16. Make a vlog/blog about how much you take twitter for granted when it’s up.

17. Go to the gym. (Sorry, you’ll have to tweet about it later)

18. Watch the latest “get a mac” ads!

19. Download iPhone apps! (Don’t forget to tweet about them when Twitter comes back up!)

20. After going through all those steps, check to see if twitter is back up!

Twitter is still down for me and I have nothing to do now but follow these tips!

When twitter comes back up you can tell me what you did when twitter was down @lizettegagne
