What’s so special about an iPhone eh!?
Got up for the launch of the iPhone at 4am yesterday and got myself a white 16GB iPhone 3GS. Luckily my new iPhone has video recording now
so I recorded my first video on it of this funny old man! When we were walking out the apple store this Old Man came up to us and wanted to know “what’s so special about an iPhone”! Of course, I had to test out the video recording capability of the iPhone 3GS in the process! He couldnt even tell I was recording him lol!
Poor guy just needed a little convincing on why the iPhone is so special!
Aside from that, I wonder what he was doing inside the mall before hours any way!?
Here are some shots that I took using the iPhone 3GS 3MP Camera:
I’ll get outside to test it out in the sunlight but, this is just an idea of what the camera is like indoors w/ the light source being an open window.
Let me know what you think in the comments!
Took 2 photos of my desk setup to test the iPhone 3GS Camera vs. the iPhone 3G camera (P.S the bread is a wrist rest

Wow the video quality is pretty impressive
i’m impressed with the quality of the iphone filming very nice.
but i got my iphone 3G only for 5 months now so i will use my sony cybershot to film
Speaking to everyone who has the 3GS comments on how good the video is, gotta say it looks pretty good. The camera doesn`t look too great in low light though.
“the bread is a wrist rest”
ahahaha. Really? Crunchy
I’m impressed with the old chap from Bell Labs. He was part of the ICT revolution that made all these wonderful and cool things like Iphones possible. And he knows a lot about transistors …
So the 3GS version is worth it then?
I probably won’t get one though. I don’t want to be locked into a 24 month contract at about £40 per month to get the phone free. And in my opinion, no mobile phone is worth £960. That’s my only gripe with Apple products – ridiculous pricing. Oh, and the fact that half the Mac fanboys/girls over here seem to make it their job to alienate anyone else.
Plus, if I stick with T-mobile, my previous contracts with them mean I can net myself a HTC Hero in September for free with unlimited texts and 800 minutes, and free web browsing, for £5-£10 per month off. If they refuse? I’ll just threaten to go get an iPhone.
Though if I could afford it, I’d totally get one.
