Myspace Redesign!

Breaking News:

Myspace has had a complete redesign and will no longer be killing our eyes with advertisements!

They have finally listened to the many complaints of their users and have completely removed ads from all of their pages! Instead they will offer and new premium web experience.

Each profile will consist of a sleek un-customizable design – free of ads, which will also include a new add-ons section – one interesting add-on that caught my eye allows you to listen to your profile comments though a voicemail like service via a personal myspace phone number given to each user using it’s new service, currently in beta “Myspace Phony” The service allows users to call their online and offline buddies for a real life chat rather than chatting through text.

Myspace has stated that in an effort for users to use their dusty vocal chords more the service will allow 140 spoken words for users to send quick updates to their friends.

This revolutionary service allows just enough words to keep your voice from going extinct. Now in order for Myspace to continue to be profitable they will now offer ads on a separate area of their website in exchange for features such as sending a comment, listening to your friends music, clicking on a photo, uploading an image, etc.

These features will now be on a point based system. The user will need x number of points in order to use a specific feature.

For ex. Uploading a picture requires 5 points. Each advertisements is worth a 1/2 a point.

Users will need to go to a new section of the site called “goneclean.myspace.com” in order to watch ads and increase points.

Myspace’s sleek design is almost mouth watering! A source from Myspace stated that “we listen to our users.”

So now that they’ve solved the problem of cluttered profiles and the complaints of their many users they can continue to make a profit and stay in the game with it’s rival, Facebook. The redesign is said to be available to all users within the coming week.
