Week 3 on the Gluten-Free diet
Well it’s week 3 of my gluten-free diet and I’m feeling great! I haven’t officially been diagnosed with Celiac or Gluten intolerance but I’m doing the test diet myself and have really noticed a difference in my mood and stomach issues. I noticed in week 2 that I got a lot more energy than when I was on a regular whole-wheat diet. Now this is still unofficial but last week I believe I got glutened by a can of beans! I felt great for 2 weeks up until I ate some country style beans and literally, as soon as it hit my stomach walls, I instantly felt nauseous and got super fatigue. Curious as to why it happened I took a look at the can and noticed Carmel Coloring as one of the ingredients. Carmel Color is on the iffy list of unsafe foods to eat on the Gluten-free diet and that seemed to be the only thing that could have been the culprit, so watch out for that! It’s been 4 days since then and I still feel a little groggy from it.
But aside from that, I wanted to share a tasty finding on the gluten-free diet. My favorite snack is now Mi-Del Gluten Free chocolate chip cookies. I’ve tried Glutino brand chocolate chip cookies before and the texture was crumbly soft and sandy to the bite. Good, but definitely takes some getting use to. But Mi-Del Chocolate Chip cookies are hard and crunchy and although they taste slightly different than normal chocolate chip cookies, they are deliciously enjoyable!
So, if you’re looking for a great treat on the Gluten-free diet be sure to try them!

New Web Series In Production!
Introducing Mervin! A new comedy web series currently in production that I’m writing and directing, starring Marquandreun Worthwealth as Mervin! Mervin the web series, is about a homeless science nerd, named Mervin, who sleeps and conducts experiments out of his car located in a local park. Incident after incident cause Mervin’s once uneventful world to turn upside down and bring him to places he would have never thought to venture before.

Photos: The Amazing Super Moon
I was lucky enough to catch the super moon yesterday right before sunset and it totally blew me away! My mouth dropped when I saw a massive reddish moon creep up above the horizon. For a second, I really thought the moon was going to eat the earth – that’s how large it was! But, as the sun started to set and the moon’s reddish appearance started to fade, ascending above the earth, it’s massiveness turned into a brighter than usual glimmering full moon. It was truly beautiful and was worth going outside for 30minutes to enjoy. I’m glad I did! I took some pictures of the spectacle – you can view those below!

Happy Halloween!
I haven’t posted in a while, so I figured I’d send a nice Halloween greeting! Happy Halloween! What are you dressing up as today?
For my costume I’m “A Hot Mess” – the girl who lady gaga gets her fashion advice from.. So when you hear people saying “Lady Gaga looks like A Hot Mess..” They’re referring to me 
Wore this costume to my work’s Halloween Costume Contest party and won a Bike!

New Twitter Login Page
There’s a new Twitter login page slowly rolling out today! The page is much more useful by including a list to the left that includes a group of users who are using the service (whom you can follow if you choose – it would be nice if they add a follow button to the hover effect on these icons though) and a center auto-scrolling list that shows the top tweets real-time (stream comes from the twitter account “toptweets”). The page still includes a scrolling marquee indicating the latest trending topics but they’ve added a unique hover that allows you to read a little about the topics – great UI and very useful!
The page is still being added to but so far, I think the home page is going in a great direction because it makes it easier for users to explore and find new interesting people to follow!
